Built by a media buyer who kept losing the lead between the ad and the sale.
I am Mohammed Diea Eddine, a performance marketer in Doha. I run paid media on Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat and LinkedIn for businesses across the GCC, and I build the tracking behind it.
In this region a lot of sales close in WhatsApp. That is good for the customer and bad for measurement: the ad platform sees the tap, the business sees the chat and the payment, and nothing connects them. Budgets end up following the ads that start the most conversations, even when those people never buy.
Wasel (واصل, "connected") is the tool I wanted for that gap. It reads the chats on a business's own WhatsApp number, ties each new person to the ad and click that sent them, and lets the team mark who was a real lead and who bought. Those marks go back to the ad platforms as conversions, so their optimisation works on sales, not chats.
How I run it
- I approve every account by hand, so each number connected to the service belongs to a real business.
- It only reads your chats. It does not message your customers.
- Your data is yours. Disconnect your number or ask me to delete everything at any time.
